The new model SoundCable CU•7 replaces the popular and successful in terms of price / quality power cable CU•6.
Also, like its predecessor, SoundCable CU•7 is made of solid copper wires cross-section 6 sq. mm, but has a number of constructional differences, which allowed very, very substantially improve its sound quality.
Retaining excellent quality of bass as 6-th model, a new cable, in particular, demonstrates true natural midrange, melodiousness vocals, great separation of instruments, solid and tangibility of the sound images ...
Pros of CU•7 can be a long list, but it's better to hear it once, than hundred times to read about it.
I tried any materials of wire several years of experimental as sound value.
In the end, I stopped at the vintage copper solid wire, covered with a special varnish.
One of the key features of my power cable CU•7 consists in the fact that he not only delivers to audio equipment supply mains voltage without losses, but also saves the energy of its electric and magnetic fields.
With this purpose, I use original isolation of my specially design, manufactured manually.
To achieve the best contact to the cable design I applied qualitative connectors with a cryogenic treatment at the temperature of -192 F of SONARQUEST.
I Offer 4 versions of contacts coating for Euro-Schuko plugs: gold, rhodium, platinum and silver.
Under the order is possible to install American standard NEMA plugs, as well as more powerful hardware connectors IEC C-19, rated current up to 20 Amps.
Because in the cable CU•7 applied solid wires with large cross-section, then, unfortunately, the reverse side of this technology is its substantial rigidity.
In this connection, to facilitate plug in connection in practice, and because of the dependence of the sound characteristics of the length of the cable, I don't do it less than 6 ft.
The recommended length is 8 ft., but under specially order is possible to manufacture another length.
